College Chapters are designed for undergraduate and graduate students who want to actively support healthcare access through operations, fundraising, and supervised clinical exposure. College Chapters provide the operational capacity that allows free clinic days to scale while offering students meaningful, supervised exposure to healthcare environments.

What College Chapters Do

  • Clinic day logistics and operational support.
  • Patient navigation and clinic flow assistance.
  • Registration and intake support.
  • Medical scribing with training and physician supervision.
  • Shadowing licensed clinicians during clinic days.
  • Campus based fundraising and community outreach.

Clinical Exposure Clarification

Participation in College Chapters may count toward clinical exposure hours for students pursuing healthcare careers. All roles are supervised. Eligibility depends on role and institutional requirements.

What College Chapters Do NOT Do

  • Do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat patients.
  • Do not perform medical procedures.
  • Do not provide medical advice.
  • Do not operate independently of licensed clinicians.
